Multicam concert registration of a special show played by this Progressive Rock band in a theater in Alphen aan de Rijn, The Netherlands

ABSURD – Filmproject
6+ hour film documentaries about artists in their natural work environment based on absurdism and philosophy. Shot on location in 1 take. Only editing allowed was audio, but all video is real, raw and unfiltered black and white footage. A legit absurd experiment.

The Aurora Project – Slave City
Music Video for this progressive rock band. Shot in Katwijk on multiple locations and brought together in the edit here. Also combined with external effects and stock footage to bring the message of the song across fully.

A full concept album lyric video based around this conceptalbum by progressive metal band Dreamwalkers Inc. The idea was to enhance the story of the record by adding the lyrics, the artwork and more external effect layers.

Abunai 2023 Aftermovie
Official convention aftermovie for the anime and japan based convention Abunai! in the Netherlands. Shot on location during the full weekend’s proceedings and edited to a set rhythm. Which then was used to write a custom soundtrack to, creating a full blown cinematic experience.

A music video for a metal cover of the classic 80s song Tainted Love, performed by Vocal Life of a Kelly. Shot on location in Belgium in a lovely castle. Written, produced and filmed by yours truly and put together here as well.

Official Event aftermovie for the Capigi 2023 meetup. A meeting involving multiple companies and speakers regarding the better, more efficient and greener use of their equipment for productivity and the world around us. This video was shot on location and then edited here in the studio.

Amersfoort Ontketent
The official startup video / aftermovie of the opening of Amersfoort Ontketent. This event was the start of a year long project in the city of Amersfoort in which attention was given to the colonial past of the city. This video was shot on multiple locations and put together here in the studio.

Koloniale Sporen – Vathorst College
Dutch / Nederlands
A video about a social project conducted with high schoolers in the city of Amersfoort, in which they spoke with older residents about the colonial past of the Netherlands and how that impacted them directly. This video serves as an end of project overview in which the participants talk about what they have learned.

A music video for the band Dreamwalkers Inc recorded in an art gallery in Amersfoort. Directed, coordinated, filmed and produced with in house equipment and edited here.

Bioplan – Arcade Dreams
A Full EP Visualizer video for the Swedish instrumental djent synthwave progmetal project Bioplan.This video was meant as a tribute to old Dos platformers from the early 90s with little jokes and references to the project and the main writer Andi Kravljaca. The drawings were made by Menno Katsman and the animation and production was done here in the studio.

TDW – The Path of Yuki Onna
Official lyric video made for this Japoanese inspired song by TDW. The basis for this video was a painting made by a fan ffor the song and the myth surrounding it. The painting was then digitized, cut into layers and animated with effects layers and visual tricks. The song was also recorded, mixed and mastered here in the studio.

Official Music Video made from live footage shot of Avandra’s performance at Progpower Europe in 2022. The video was shot with a multicam setup and then synced up to the studio audio here at the suite.

Official Music video for the song Transversal released by Aeon Zen. A 30+ minute music video that combines green screen materials, stock footage and album artwork to create a career overview for this Progressive Metal band that closed a chapter in their career.

Official Music Video for the song Fountains in which I wanted to make a comedic yet cynical musical narrative about the way the music industry works these days and how incredibly depressing that can be for artists who want to remain indepedent and want to make art that transcends the expected commercial norms. Official Music video for Puerto Rican Progmetal band Avandra. A visualizer that used the main artwork painting for the album as its basis combined with animated elements and motion to create an evocative experience.

Official Music Video for TDW, recorded in an old convent in Amersfoort. Directed and starring yours truly and created with a small dedicated team of people. The video is meant to show the vulnerability of mankind in the face of death and what that does to a person.

Official Music Video for this song written by Moira Mona. The song was arranged by me based on her wishes in a rockband setting. The video was then shot on location in Utrecht and edited together with the audio in the studio here.
